Imagine this- it’s the day of your wedding, your bridesmaids are getting their dresses on and as one of them starts to zip up their dress, the zipper gets stuck.
At this point there is nothing we can do except cut the zipper off and either sew her in or pin up the side with safety pins… BUT what if we don’t have what we need to do either?
This is just one example of why you might find it beneficial to have a day-of emergency kit!
If you have hired a wedding coordinator, here is a chance they have their own version of an emergency kit, but it’s better safe than sorry!

If you don’t have a wedding coordinator for your day -stick around! I am going to give you my top 15 items that are in my Wedding Day Emergency Kit and where to find them!
DOUBLE-STICK FASHION TAPE, this can help with any wardrobe malfunctions on your big day! It can be used in a pinch to fix a hemline on a bridesmaid's dress, close the gap on a groomsman's button or even temporarily fix a broken jewelry piece. (SOLUTION: Target, $8)
SAFETY PINS, this is a must have! Find a pack that comes in multiple sizes so you can fix a variety of things. Such as bridesmaid dresses, bras, to attach a boutonniere, or even to bustle the wedding dress! (SOLUTION: target, $4 - 200 ct)
SEWING KIT, you can find a miniature sewing kit from the dollar store that comes with needles, mini scissors, tape measure, extra buttons and thread in a few basic colors.
SCISSORS, scissors can be used to help trim any loose strings on clothes, bouquet for bridesmaids and everything in between.
TWEEZERS, easy to fix a stray hair or two and it can fit in a button hole for an easy fix.
STAIN REMOVER PEN, spills are going to happen and you will be relieved how well a stain remover pen is!
PADS/TAMPONS...you don't always know when Aunt Flo will be visiting
HAIRSPRAY, any last-minute touch-ups before you hit the aisle. (SOLUTION: any convenience store)
PAIN RELIEVER, have a small bottle of pain reliever to cure any headaches or cramps you or your wedding party may have
LIGHTERS, if you are using candles or sparklers that need to be re-lit or if any fabric starts to fray a lighter will definitely come in handy
TISSUES, such a multi-use item! From happy tears to any accidental eye-poking, tissues can save the day
Q-TIPS, help touch up makeup mistakes and they seem a bit more accurate than a makeup wipe.
BANDAIDS, if you cut yourself or your shoes are rubbing just slap on a bandaid!
